Primary real-time communication with connected drives is handled through a SERCOS III master interface, which supports deterministic data exchange between the controller and the axis modules. For higher-level plant communication, the unit also includes PROFIBUS-DP, allowing motion functions to exchange status and control data with PLC-based networks. Three differential analog input channels operate across a ±10 V range, and the same voltage range is used by the output stage.
