The IndraDrive CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-EC-NN-NW Control Section is a single-axis drive control unit designed for controlling IndraDrive-compatible motors. This particular model belongs to Series 2 and is an ADVANCED category control section. The IndraDrive CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-EC-NN-NW Control Section features 3 interfaces one of which includes a Multi-Ethernet interface that supports various fieldbuses including PROFINET, EtherCAT, and SERCOS III, which facilitates easy integration into existing industrial networks. This control section is only one module and requires a separate power section to operate it. The module has an Extended Scope interface equipment.
The Control Section Unit also includes a Multi-encoder interface which is crucial for motion control of the IndraDrive motors. The Multi-encoder interface supports IndraDyn, EnDat 2.1, and HIPERFACE encoder interfaces making it compatible with different motor interfaces and technologies. With many control sections featured in the CSH02.5B series, the IndraDrive CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-EC-NN-NW Control Section does not include an advanced safety feature like Safe Torque Off (STO) or Safe Motion. The IndraDrive CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-EC-NN-NW Control Section module has dimensions of 103 mm x 49.5 mm x 241 mm making it compact and easier to install in limited space.
The control section features 13 connection points including various connections such as Ethernet ports, encoder port, etc. The recommended wire gauge for the connection points is between 20 to 14 AWG with a stranded wire thickness of 0.25 mm to 1.5 mm. The module features 11 Digital inputs and also 5 user configurable points which can be programmed to be used as an input or an output. For troubleshooting operational errors the IndraDrive CSH02.5B-CC-EC-ET-NN-EC-NN-NW Control Section features LED indicators that glow different colors based on the operation status of the Control Section module.
