CSH02.1B-ET-EC-NN-SB-DA-NN-FW is a digital control section. Its modular design allows operators to configure it according to application requirements. Four slots on the basic unit allow installation of one safety module and three function modules. Slot 1 on the unit features a multi-encoder interface module. This module allows the controller with the control section to receive feedback from a wide range of Bosch motor encoders. Slot 2 on the unit is vacant but can be used as required. Slot 3 on the unit features a safety module that supports safe motion bus. Slot 4 on the unit features a digital/analog I/O extension module used to augment the native I/O interfaces. Firmware for the unit comes as a separate item. To ascertain the installed firmware version, operators can refer to the firmware type plate that is attached to the control section.
Additional type plates are attached to the unit, including a control section type plate, which lists specification and essential information related to the unit. Operators must inspect this type plate to confirm the unit’s specifications. Operators must also inspect received equipment to confirm if it is damaged. Any equipment found to be damaged must not be used. Master communication interface on the CSH02.1B-ET-EC-NN-SB-DA-NN-FW is Multi-Ethernet. Bosch has designed the unit for single-axis control applications. Control sections optimized for dual-axis control are also available. A standard control panel is required for control section configuration. This type of control panel features a digital display with a keypad.
