CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EM-NN-NN-NN-FW is a control section with a modular architecture. It is a primary component of Bosch Rexroth IndraDrive controllers used for motor control in industrial applications. The basic unit of the control section is equipped with a processor, RAM, and slots for plug in modules. Four slots are available out of which two are occupied by factory-installed modules and two slots are vacant. The pre-installed modules include a multi-encoder interface module and an encoder emulation module. Multi-encoder interface modules for CSH series devices support several encoders found on Bosch servo motors. Encoder emulation modules allow simulation of encoder signals for calibration, simulation and testing purposes. One of the vacant slots is designed for a safety module. Options for safety modules include safe motion, safe torque off, and safe motion bus. The remaining vacant slot can accommodate one of several modules including encoder emulation, multi-encoder interface, and digital/analog I/O extension.
Firmware for the control section is ordered separately. A firmware-specific type plate attached to the controller lists firmware-related information and allows easy identification of the installed firmware version. The CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EM-NN-NN-NN-FW is a control section that is compatible with a standard control panel. This control panel is equipped with a digital display and a keypad. The control panel display shows operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings. With the keypad, an engineer or service technician can display extended diagnoses and trigger simple commands. The control panel does not support hot plug i.e. it must be connected to the control section before it is powered on. Bosch has designed the CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EM-NN-NN-NN-FW for single axis applications. Bosch also develops control sections that are optimized for dual-axis applications.
