CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EC-SB-EM-NN-FW is a control section for Bosch IndraDrive motor controllers. It is usually supplied as part of a fully assembled and working controller. The power section plugs into a power section. If required, operators can order the control section and power section as separate items. In addition, the firmware for the controller has to be ordered as a separate subitem. The fourth component that completes a controller is the control panel, which is a device that allows configuration and status monitoring of the control panel. Bosch provides a standard control panel and an advanced control panel for CSH control sections. Standard control panels do not support hot plug, whereas advanced control panels do support hot plug. Advanced control panels also have more memory. The CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EC-SB-EM-NN-FW works with a standard control panel.
For it to work properly, this control panel must be attached to the control section only when the latter is not energized. The CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EC-SB-EM-NN-FW is a control section with four factory-installed optional hardware modules. Two of these are multi-encoder interfaces, one is an encoder emulation module, and the fourth one is a safety module that supports safe motion bus. Safe motion bus is a communication protocol and network system developed for the implementation of safe control in automation systems. Benefits of safe motion bus include exchange of safety-related information, implementation of control functions, high level of safety and integrity, flexibility and scalability. The CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EC-SB-EM-NN-FW also supports Multi-Ethernet master communication which allows 100 Mbps full-duplex connectivity between nodes located at a distance of up to 100 meters. Type plates attached to the device allow easy verification and identification of equipment specifications. Only trained staff should handle the control section.
