CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EC-SB-EC-NN-FW is a state-of-the-art control section for motor controllers. Specifically, it is designed for use as a component of Bosch IndraDrive controllers. It mounts onto a power section that supplies DC power for the control section and for the optional modules installed on the control section. The control section is an independent component that plugs into a power section. As per standard practice, Bosch supplies drive controllers ex works as a fully assembled device that includes the control section. Operators can also order control sections and power sections separately. The firmware package has to be ordered separately for the control section. Only technical personnel trained by Bosch Rexroth for mounting and dismounting control sections should mount and dismount the devices. To prevent damage, any control section must not be mounted and/or dismounted more than 20 times.
CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EC-SB-EC-NN-FW is a control section with four optional modules. Three of these are multi-encoder interface modules and the fourth one is a safe module with safe motion bus support. Master communication on the CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EC-SB-EC-NN-FW is Multi-Ethernet. The device is compatible with a standard control panel, which does not support hot plug. In order to function correctly, the control panel should be disconnected and/or connected when the control section is not energized. The CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EC-SB-EC-NN-FW is a device that is optimized for single axis control applications. Power consumption of the control section basic unit is 17 Watts. The peak inrush current is 5 Amps. Each of the multi-encoder modules draw 1.1 Watts and the safety module (safe motion bus) draws 2.5 Watts. Proper cooling is a prerequisite for reliable and safe operation. Operators must provide good ventilation around the controller to maintain ambient temperature within prescribed limits.
