The CSH02.1B-ET-EC-EC-S4-EC-NN-FW is a motion and logic controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Designed to slide into the power section of an IndraDrive stack, it handles axis control, local I/O preprocessing, and network communication for coordinated machine movement. Its role in industrial automation is to generate synchronized set points and safety commands that keep multiple electric drives operating within speed, torque, and position limits. This arrangement suits multi-axis machines that require coordinated motion and fast signal handling in a single control module.

The controller offers three analog inputs for sensor values and two analog outputs for proportional commands. 11 digital inputs capture rapid discrete states, while five configurable digital I/O points can be set as sources or sinks to match program logic. Those flexible digital points let the module interface with switches, status signals, and command outputs without separate conversion hardware. Position accuracy is refined inside the drive because the controller runs its position loop every 250 µs and its velocity loop every 125 µs, which helps the axis follow demanding cam profiles without overshoot. Separated loop timing for position and velocity also supports predictable response during interpolation and profile changes. Feedback enters through the Multi-Encoder channel on interface 4, so EnDat 2.2, SSI, or Hiperface sensors can connect without extra hardware. The front panel is only 49.5 mm wide, leaving room for adjacent power modules inside a standard control cabinet.
