The CSH02.1B-CC-EC-ET-S4-NN-NN-FW is a compact motion and logic controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat as part of the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Installed beside IndraDrive power sections, it supervises multi-axis positioning, interpolates motion profiles, and supplies encoder power so that servo motors, linear stages, and auxiliary sensors can be synchronized within an automated line. Designed for cabinet integration, this module links upper-level PLCs with field devices and converts application code into deterministic axis commands for industrial automation tasks such as packaging, handling, and printing.

In normal operation, the controller exchanges real-time data with drives over the SERCOS III master bus, delivering cycle times suitable for tight velocity loops. An embedded A/D front end with 12-bit resolution captures analog feedback, while 11 digital inputs handle limit switches, homing sensors, and safety contacts. The hardware provides 2 analog outputs for proportional valve control or torque reference signals. Setup and parameter access are handled through a service port that accepts a CAT5e (ITP) cable. The axis board also features a multi-encoder interface that recognizes EnDat, Hiperface, SSI, and incremental formats without additional adapters.

On the feedback side, the module supplies encoders with 12 V at up to 500 mA, eliminating the need for separate power taps and helping long cable runs stay within voltage tolerance.
