It manages the position, velocity, and torque loops required in pick-and-place stations, presses, and packaging equipment. It can coordinate drive behavior and machine responses from one compact control location inside the cabinet.

At its core, the unit is intended for a single-axis drive and draws a baseline of 17 W from a DC 24 V supply. Motion commands and diagnostic data travel through a SERCOS III master interface, allowing tightly synchronized communication with connected inverters. The integrated DA option card samples process variables with 14-bit resolution, which supports fine force or tension regulation.
