Bosch Rexroth creates a wide range of functional drive controllers used to control electrical motors and monitor their operation. These drive controllers have two primary units: the control section and the power section. Its CSH control sections have several interfaces and belong in the ADVANCED range.
The CSH02.1B-CC-EC-CN-L3-DA-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth control section in the CSH series. It features interface equipment with extended scope and a sercos III master communication module. This single-axis control section comes with a multi-encoder interface that uses a 15-pin D-sub female connector. It allows the connection of encoder systems with supply voltage ratings of 5V and 12V, such as the MSM and MSK motor encoders, the sin-cos encoder (1Vpp) with Hiperface, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. Other interfaces on the CSH model are the CANopen interface and a digital/analog I/O extension. Its safety technology module is Safe Torque Off, protecting users by preventing the unintentional startup of the motor.
Like other components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system, the CSH02.1B-CC-EC-CN-L3-DA-NN-FW is a product of category C3 according to IEC 61800‑3. This means that it is best suited for operation in an industrial area. However, using the unit in a public low-voltage mains supplying residential areas can be done, provided radio interference suppression measures are adopted. It is equipped with an ADVANCED control panel with a single-line display and keys for entering simple commands and running diagnostics. This control panel has a slot for a PFM04.1 microSD memory card and serves as a programming module. The control section supports the use of firmware, but this must be ordered as a separate unit.
