At the hardware level, the module draws a base power of 8.5 W, which helps limit heat inside the cabinet. Command data reach the drive through the integrated PROFIBUS fieldbus, which exchanges control words and diagnostics in cyclic updates. For optical encoder distribution, the CCD connector pair labeled X24, X25 supports the ring wiring used in multi-axis stations.
