Handling and mounting systems, machine tools, and food processing and packaging machines are some applications of the IndraDrive drive controllers. These Bosch Rexroth products have two essential components: the power section and the control section. One of the families of control sections in the IndraDrive system is the CSH series.
The CSH01.3C-PB-EN2-EN2-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW is a compact CSH model with a typical inrush current of 4A and a maximum pulse width of 100ms. It is a configurable single-axis type designed to be operated at switching frequencies of 2 kHz, 4 kHz, 8 kHz, 12 kHz, and 16 kHz. Its Safe Motion module protects users by offering different application-related safety functions. These include safely-limited speed, safe maximum speed, safe direction, safe homing procedure, and safe diagnostic outputs. The communication modules in the CSH model are PROFIBUS and cross communication. PROFIBUS is a world-accepted communication protocol providing a high-speed communication interface and enabling fast and accurate data exchange between devices. Its cross communication module serves as a “master” and corresponds to the IEEE 802.3 standard.
With the two encoder evaluation interfaces on the CSH01.3C-PB-EN2-EN2-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW, encoders with a supply voltage of 5V can be connected to it. These include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 and Sense lines, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. It also has a standard control panel with a single-line display showing operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings. This user-friendly control panel is used to set the drive address, access the error memory, and initiate the basic load defaults procedure. Firmware use is allowed with the model.
