When it comes to drive and automation technology, Bosch Rexroth is one of the world’s topmost brands. Its CSH control sections are single-axis units plugged into the power sections of the IndraDrive drive controllers. These drive controllers are used to control electric motors and monitor their operations. They are components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system.

The CSH01.3C-PB-EN1-ENS-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth control section in the CSH series. It is equipped with the widely used PROFIBUS communication interface for real-time communication between the control section and other parts of the system. This module provides a fast and reliable communication interface and facilitates seamless coordination and control of motion and automation tasks. In addition to this, the CSH control section has a cross communication module corresponding to the IEEE 802.3 standard. Both modules have LEDs connected to them to serve as indicators of their operating states. They are useful in fault identification and rectification. The control section’s permitted switching frequencies are 2 kHz, 4 kHz, 8 kHz, 12 kHz, and 16 kHz.

Safety Technology I/O is a module in the CSH01.3C-PB-EN1-ENS-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW providing different application-related safety functions. These include safe maximum speed, safely-limited position, safe direction, and safe homing procedure. The configurable single-axis control section has a standard encoder evaluation interface designed for encoders with a supply voltage of 12V. They include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track. This CSH model is equipped with a standard control panel used to set the analog outputs, establish the position data reference, and initiate the basic load defaults procedure.
