Product Description:

ADVANCED control units are designed to meet high demands in performance and dynamics. They are components of drive controllers in the IndraDrive drive system designed to control electric motors and monitor their operations. They are used in machine tools and handling and mounting equipment.

The CSH01.3C-ET-ENS-NNN-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW is a configurable control section in the Design-3 line of CSH control sections by Bosch Rexroth. It features spring terminals and screw terminal blocks at its connection points to provide secure and vibration-resistant connections. Consequently, it can be safely operated in industrial environments. As a product of category C3 according to IEC 61800‑3, it is best suited for such environments. Additional measures of interference suppression must be adopted when it is operated in a public low-voltage mains supplying residential areas as this may lead to high-frequency interference. The control section also permits switching frequencies of 2 kHz, 4 kHz, 8 kHz, 12 kHz, and 16 kHz. It supports the use of firmware, but this should be ordered separately.

Safe Motion is the inbuilt safety feature in the CSH01.3C-ET-ENS-NNN-CCD-S2-S-NN-FW. It protects both users and the machine by providing application-related safety functions like safe door locking, safely-limited speed, safely-monitored position, and safe homing procedure. The control section can be connected to encoders like the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, and the MSK encoder. This connection is via its standard encoder evaluation interface for encoders with a supply voltage of 12V. It is equipped with a standard control panel for setting the drive address, accessing the error memory, and establishing the position data reference.
