CSH01.2C-PB-ENS-MEM-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW is a Bosch Rexroth CSH series control section. Operators can identify hardware and software specifications from type plates attached to the device. Two type plates are attached to each control section: a control section type plate and a firmware type plate. At the time of equipment delivery, operators must verify information listed on the type plates. Any piece of equipment found to be faulty must not be installed or operated. Bosch as the manufacturer will not be liable for any damages resulting from inappropriate use of its products. Improper use will lead to forfeiting of the guarantee and the right to payment of any resulting damages. The operator is alone liable for risks connected to improper use. If the products take the form of hardware, then they must remain in their original state; in other words, Bosch does not permit any structural changes.

The CSH01.2C-PB-ENS-MEM-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW is an advanced control section that operators can configure from a standard control panel. It is a modular device and features several factory installed modules. The encoder IndraDyn module allows controller use with several types of motor encoder. The encoder emulation module enables emulation of absolute value and incremental encoder signals for further evaluation by the control unit. The signals are galvanically isolated from the circuit board. An external power supply is not necessary for encoder emulation. The cross communication module complies with IEEE 802.3 and allows communication with similar devices. The safety module supports safety technology I/O. The CSH01.2C-PB-ENS-MEM-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW is also equipped with Profibus master communication. In addition an integrated RS-232 interface allows communication with serial-enable devices.
