Bosch Rexroth is a pioneer designer of top-notch drive and motion control products. Its functional IndraDrive drive controllers have power sections and control sections. They are used in handling and mounting systems, machine tools, and food processing and packaging machines.
The CSH01.2C-PB-ENS-EN2-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW is a configurable single-axis control section in the CSH series by Bosch Rexroth. It has a standard encoder evaluation interface supporting encoders with a supply voltage of 12V. Examples of these encoders are the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the EnDat 2.1 interface, the MSK motor encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the Hiperface interface, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. Its PROFIBUS communication module aids its interaction with other system components via the cyclical exchange of specified and actual values, including status signals, and diagnostic messages. There are LEDs on the control section for assessing its function. Another communication interface in the control section is the cross-communication module that complies with the IEEE 802.3 standard.
Encoders with a supply voltage of 5V are also connected to the CSH01.2C-PB-ENS-EN2-CCD-NN-S-NN-FW. Its standard control panel is used for establishing the position data reference, starting the basic load defaults procedure, and exploring the error memory. This user-friendly panel features a single-line display, where the operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings are displayed. Firmware use is supported with the control section. When used in a public low-voltage mains supplying residential areas, additional measures of radio interference suppression must be adopted.
