The CSH01.2C-PB-EN2-EN1-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW control section is part of the CSH Advanced Controllers series from Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Installed on an IndraDrive power module, it coordinates motion axes, manages fieldbus traffic, and evaluates encoder feedback for automated production equipment. It also supervises integrated safety functions, so the control section serves as the central command element in packaging machines, pick-and-place robots, and material-handling lines. Its role is to combine communication, feedback processing, and motion control on a single compact board.

Normal operation requires only 8.5 W from the internal supply, while power-up briefly draws an inrush of 4 A that the input circuit must accommodate. The board supplies 5.0 V DC at up to 350 mA on the EN2 port, allowing compatible digital encoders to be powered directly from the control section. Safety inputs accept pulses up to 100 ms; longer signals trip the relay circuit. Encoder channel 1 supports EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, and 5 V TTL formats, while channel 2 supports resolver or HSF feedback. The resolver interface on EN1 excites the sensor at 18.2 Vpp with a 4 kHz carrier, which helps maintain stable position data in electrically noisy environments.

Fieldbus wiring connects through the D-Sub 9-Pin Female connector, and peer-level coordination is exchanged over the SERCOS III Master channel so multiple drives can share synchronized motion data. For service access or HMI communication, the CCD port provides Ethernet at 100Base-TX speed, keeping diagnostic traffic separate from time-critical control traffic. Machine stop chains use the 24 V DC / 1 A safety relay monitored by Safety Technology I/O blocks, allowing motor power to be removed without routing the action through the main controller. Feedback evaluation, service communication, and safety switching are handled on the same compact control section.
