The CSH01.1C-SE-NNN-NNN-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW control section is built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. It slots into IndraDrive power units and supervises servo axes in packaging and printing lines, issuing trajectory data, checking feedback, and generating safety responses. A compact front control panel provides status text on a single-line display, so operators can view error numbers or operating states without an external terminal. The module also hosts an MA1 analog interface card so machine programs can exchange reference signals with external sensors, actuators, and process controllers.

The MA1 board supplies two differential input channels and two output channels for analog position or torque commands. Each input accepts a ±10 V signal, is buffered by a 1000 kΩ impedance to minimize loading, and is digitized with 12-bit resolution for fine control granularity. The paired outputs reproduce command values across the same voltage span and can drive loads down to 1 kΩ without distortion, with matching conversion depth. System state text is rendered on a single-line LCD, and all process data can be exchanged cyclically through the controller’s SERCOS master port, keeping motion loops synchronized with other drives on the ring.

Machine safety and diagnostic links are handled by other onboard functions. The drive enables the certified Safe Torque Off feature, cutting motor energy through independent hardware paths when its STO control signal of 24 V at 3 mA is asserted. A confirmation relay then presents a 24 V DC / 1 A acknowledge output to external safety PLCs. For parameter access, an embedded RS-232 port is available and supports cable runs up to 15 m, allowing a direct local connection without disturbing the optical SERCOS traffic.
