The CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-NNN-MD1-S1-S-NN-FW is a motion-control master module manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and supplied under the CSH Advanced Controllers series. In an automation cell, this unit coordinates drive axes, processes field feedback, and forwards real-time commands to power inverters so that positioning and speed loops stay synchronized on the network. It is intended for systems that need centralized motion control together with onboard signal handling.

The controller accepts analog velocity or process references over an input span of ±10 V, allowing drives to interpret bidirectional command magnitudes. An independent analog output scaled at 0 to +5 V is provided for status feedback or external actuator trimming. Network integration occurs through SERCOS II, providing 2-kbit cyclic telegram timing for deterministic motion exchange. A single feedback channel is supported through a D-Sub 15 Female connector that routes signals from resolvers, incremental encoders, or absolute encoders, and the internal electronics use a regulated 12 V supply to energize these transducers. Standard encoder evaluation is preinstalled, and because the second encoder slot is not equipped, the hardware is optimized for single-loop topologies.

For local control, the base board offers four configurable I/O points and eleven general digital inputs, with 11 of those lines available to latch high-speed sensor flags. The attached MD1 expansion adds 12 more digital inputs and 8 digital outputs, allowing machine sequences to run without a separate PLC. Functional safety is handled by the Safety Technology I/O option on a D-Sub 9 female connector, and its outputs can switch up to 24 V / 0.5 A for interlocks or contactor coils. A third option slot for digital I/O extension remains open for future process signals.
