Product Description:

The CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MEM-MD1-L2-S-NN-FW control section is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Inserted into an IndraDrive power base, the board supplies motion calculations, real-time bus access, and local I/O handling so a single axis can be synchronized with plant-wide automation. Its task is to translate high-level commands into precise current and voltage patterns for IndraDyn servo motors in assembly lines, packaging equipment, and similar installations. Because the control section is a separate electronics module, it works with a compatible power section to create a complete single-axis drive.

It exchanges process data over the SERCOS II fiber-optic ring at a selectable baud rate of 16 MBaud, and its minimum telegram cycle of 1000 µs sets the fastest closed-loop response the drive can deliver. Base electronics draw only 7.5 W, yet the card must absorb an inrush of 4 A for up to 100 ms when the DC bus is energized. Local analog processing consists of 1 differential input channel and 2 output channels that can be mapped to speed, torque, or process variables. Discrete signaling is handled by 12 MD1 digital inputs, 8 MD1 digital outputs, and 4 configurable digital I/O points, letting the controller capture limit switches or release brake commands without auxiliary interface hardware. This combination of analog and digital channels allows direct connection of common machine signals at the drive.

Position feedback resources include an IndraDyn motor interface and a HIPERFACE port, plus an encoder emulator that reproduces incremental or absolute tracks with a ceiling frequency of 1 MHz. This function allows downstream PLCs or CNC units to receive synchronized marker pulses directly from the drive, and it can support systems that need a reproduced position signal for monitoring or coordination. The integrated safety circuit provides Safe Torque Off, removing gate signals to the power stage so torque-producing energy is shut off when a safety door opens or an emergency stop is pressed. The encoder emulator and safety functions are built into the control section, which reduces the need for separate interface hardware.
