The Bosch CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-MD1-L2-S-NN-FW is an advanced control section for IndraDrive controllers. The controllers are used for motor control in commercial and industrial applications. Applications for IndraDrive controllers with CSH controls sections include machine tools, paper processing machines, mounting systems and food machines. The CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-MD1-L2-S-NN-FW is an advanced control section that is designed for single axis control applications. It includes an integrated RS-232 serial interface that allows communication with other devices over serial communication links. In addition, the control section supports SERCOS communication that allows high-speed communication over resilient SERCOS networks. The modular design allows adaption of the control section to a wide range of requirements. It comes with four factory-installed modules that include one encoder module, two I/ modules, and a safety module. The encoder module is an encoder IndraDyn/Hiperface module.

One of the I/O modules is an analog I/O extension module and the second I/O module is a digital I/O extension module. Both of these modules are designed to increase the number of available I/Os on the control section. The safety module on the CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-MD1-L2-S-NN-FW supports safe torque off. Safe torque off is a safety feature designed to prevent an electric motor from unintentionally starting up or generating torque, even if power is applied to the drive. The function is used to reduce the risk of injury to personnel who are working with or near the motor. One big benefit of the function is that it can help reduce the risk of injury and damage to equipment in the event of a fault or emergency. By preventing the motor from generating torque, the function can help prevent accidents and injuries caused by unexpected motor movement.
