The CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-EN2-S2-S-NN-FW is a single-axis motion controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Installed in IndraDrive platforms, the module supervises servo amplifiers and associated feedback devices so that precise position, velocity, and torque loops can be executed in automated cells. By combining communication, encoder power, and integrated safety on one card, it acts as the command layer for material handling, packaging, and other factory-floor equipment. This arrangement keeps core control functions in one module instead of requiring separate interface cards for routine axis operation.

It controls 1 axis, which keeps configuration simple when only one servo requires closed-loop control. The internal electronics dissipate a base power of 7.5 W, so cabinet ventilation demands remain modest. Command and diagnostic traffic uses the deterministic SERCOS II fiber ring, delivering cycle-synchronous data to higher-level PLCs. For sensor excitation, the EN2 rail supplies 5.0 V at up to 350 mA, which is adequate for many incremental or absolute transducers. Three encoder ports are fitted: the first accepts IndraDyn, HIPERFACE, or 1 Vpp signals, while the second and third accept EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, or 5 V TTL formats, allowing mixed feedback types in retrofit applications. A standard operator panel provides local parameter access, and the electronics draw a typical inrush current of 4 A during energization.

Separate safety electronics labeled ENS are driven by 11.6 V at 500 mA, isolating protective functions from the main logic rail. The power filter limits the surge duration to 100 ms during inrush, which helps preserve DC-bus stability. For service tasks, an RS-232 port supports cable runs up to 15 m, allowing a computer connection outside the cabinet. Safe Motion technology provides internal monitoring and delivers a hardware-rated safety output of 0.5 A that can disconnect actuators upon overspeed, standstill error, or other diagnosed hazards.
