The electronics consume only 7.5 W at idle, reducing thermal load inside sealed enclosures. Upstream communication occurs on a fiber-optic ring that operates at a maximum of 16 MBaud; the adopted protocol is SERCOS II, which maintains cycle-synchronous data exchange across multiple drives. For position feedback, the controller accepts encoder signals in EnDat 2.1 / 1 Vpp / 5 V TTL format, and it supplies the sensors with a regulated 5.0 V source.
