The CSH01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW is a motion control module produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. It serves as the control section in modular drive systems, linking feedback devices and fieldbus channels to the associated power stage. In industrial automation, the card coordinates servo positioning, velocity loops, and safe shutdown tasks for packaging, material handling, and similar machinery. By separating control electronics from the power stage, the module supports modular drive layouts with application-specific feedback and communication options.

It is configured for single-axis operation, so it governs one drive channel per card. The basic board draws only 7.5 W, reducing cabinet heat. Communication with the drive bus uses SERCOS II, which delivers deterministic cyclic data for velocity, current, and diagnostics. A dedicated control supply of 24 V DC keeps logic active during mains removal. Two encoder sockets accept EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, and 5 V TTL formats, letting the controller read both absolute and analog incremental feedback. Program and parameter files can be stored on a MultiMediaCard for local data storage. The module is fully configurable, and the standard operator panel with a single-line display provides direct parameter access.

Additional interfaces support field wiring and safety functions. The internal relay is rated at DC 24 V, 1 A and is implemented as Relay Type 2 for simple status signaling to external controllers. Functional safety wiring terminates on connector X41; the card includes one safety slot and executes Safety Technology I/O so emergency-stop chains remain independent of the application software. Encoder power is supplied at 5 V to protect sensitive sensor electronics. A single service port provides diagnostics over RS232.
