CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-NNN-MA1-S2-S-XP-FW is a control unit. It is a primary component of IndraDrive controllers that are used for motor control in industrial applications. Bosch supplies control units as part of fully assembled controllers. Other controller components include a power section, firmware and control panel. Power sections convert input AC voltage to output DC voltage that is supplied to the control unit. The power consumption of the control unit is 7.5 Watts and the typical inrush current is 4 Amps. Total power consumption of the drive controller depends on the power drawn by the control unit and optional hardware modules. SERCOS master communication draws 2 Watts power from the power section. The analog I/O extension module draws 2 Watts power from the power section. The encoder HSF/RSF module draws 1 Watt power.
Operators can use a standard control panel to configure the control unit. Standard control panels for IndraDrive devices do not support hot plug. Therefore they must be connected before the control unit is powered on. The standard control panel has a single-line display and four-button keypad. The display shows operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings. Using the four keys, a service technician, in addition to communication via the commissioning tool or NC control unit, can have extended diagnoses displayed at the drive controller and trigger simple commands. The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-NNN-MA1-S2-S-XP-FW is equipped with a safety module that supports safe motion. This modules several safety functions that include safe door locking, safe diagnostic outputs, safe maximum speed, safe stop, safe direction, safe communication, safely-monitored deceleration and safe input/outputs. The control unit mounts vertically and cools via convection cooling. The working temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius.
