CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-ENS-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW is a control unit. It is a part of IndraDrive controllers. Bosch supplies fully assembled controllers that include a control unit, a power section and controller firmware. Bosch also supplies controller components as individual parts. When supplied separately, a trained technician must assemble the different components. CSH series control units plug into compatible power sections. Operators must order firmware for the control units separately. Each control unit comes with a type plate that lists information that helps to identity control unit specifications. A firmware type plate is also attached to the control unit. Personnel must verify information on these types at the time of delivery. Bosch CSH series control units are available in three different versions that support different features and functionality. The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-ENS-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW is an advanced control unit.
The control unit is designed for single-axis control applications. It is configurable and works with a standard control panel. Standard control panels for IndraDrive controllers do not support hot plug. Hence they must be connected to control units before the control units are powered on. The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-ENS-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW control unit is equipped with three separate encoder modules and a safety module. The three encoder modules include encoder HSF/ RSF, encoder with IndraDyn/Hiperface support and encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface. The safety module on the unit supports safety technology I/O. In addition, the CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-ENS-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW also supports integrated SERCOS communication. It is also equipped with an RS-232 interface that operators can use to configure the unit and to connect it to other serial-enabled devices. The ambient temperature for optimal control unit operation is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. Failure to comply with safety instruction listed in the product manual can lead to severe injury and equipment damage.
