Bosch Rexroth is a provider of world-class drive and motion control units. It is the designer of the IndraDrive drive system that integrates several units to solve automation challenges. Drive controllers in this system consist of the power section and control section.

The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-EN2-MA1-S1-S-NN-FW is a single-axis control section in the ADVANCED range designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a configurable device with an interface for Resolver and HSF encoder evaluation, as well as an encoder evaluation interface. Hence, it supports encoders with supply voltages of DC 8V or AC 18.2V peak-peak and those with a supply voltage of 5V. Some of these encoders are the encoders for MHD and MKD motors, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the resolvers without data memory, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 and sense lines. The control section also has an Analog I/O Extension to increase the number of analog channels or provide channels of better resolution.

Users of the CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-EN2-MA1-S1-S-NN-FW are protected by its Safety Technology I/O module. It offers application-related safety functions like safety-related drive interlock, standstill, reduced speed, direction of motion, etc. The control section also has a SERCOS master communication module and allows its drive controller to be connected to higher-level control units with fiber optic cables. The control section’s serial interface X2 or its control panel can be used to set the bus system’s data rate and transmission power. Its standard control panel features a single-line display and four keys used to access several other functions. These include establishing the position data reference, setting the analog outputs, and viewing the error memory.
