One of the control section series in Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive drive system is the CSH series. The units in this series offer flexibility and top-notch performance with their multiple interfaces. Their applications include handling and mounting systems, machine tools, and food packaging machines.
The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW is a model of the CSH control sections in the ADVANCED range designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a Line 1 single-axis model featuring Design 1. Like others in the series, the control section has connection points equipped with spring terminals and screw terminal blocks. Its master communication module is SERCOS, meaning that its communication is via fiber optic cables. This also allows it to interact effortlessly with high-level control units. The module’s data rate and transmission power can be manipulated via the serial interface X2 or its standard control panel. Other achievable functions with this control panel include navigating the error memory, setting the analog outputs, and establishing the position data reference.
User protection during the use of the CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW is provided by a Safety Technology I/O module. It provides application-related safety functions, including reduced speed, direction of motion, safety-related standstill, etc. The control section’s two interfaces for Resolver and HSF encoder evaluation allow the connection of encoders with supply voltages of DC 8V or AC 18.2V peak-peak. These include resolvers without data memory and the encoders for the MHD and MKD motors. It allows the use of firmware which should be ordered separately. Also, its permitted switching frequencies are 2kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz. As a product of category C3 per EC 61800‑3, it should be operated in industrial areas only.
