The CSH01.1C-S3-ENS-NNN-MD1-L2-S-NN-FW controller module is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. It is a pluggable axis control card that fits into IndraDrive power sections to handle command processing, feedback evaluation, and safety tasks for servo drives used in packaging machines, material handling lines, and other automated stations. By integrating high-speed motion logic with fieldbus connectivity, the card streamlines cabinet layouts and supports synchronized axis operation. Because the control section is mounted directly in the drive, command handling and signal evaluation remain closely coupled within the same assembly.

It expands the base control with 12 digital inputs for 24 V logic sensing and 8 digital outputs that can each source up to 0.5 A for valve coils or contactors. An internal D-Sub 15 female encoder socket receives position data while supplying sensor power, and two analog channels are also available. One channel provides a 5 V analog output, and the other can source 1 mA for reference signaling to external devices. Overall card demand remains at 7.5 W, which helps keep heat generation in the drive stack low. Motion commands and status frames are exchanged over SERCOS III through an RJ-45 8-pin port that also carries service traffic.

A separate 100Base-TX Ethernet interface provides a standard copper link for parameter access and service communication without disturbing the real-time motion network. For machine safety, the module includes a dedicated D-Sub 9 female socket that routes the hardware lines for Safe Torque Off to the power stage, and the internal relay path is rated for 24 V DC switching up to 1 A. Feedback compatibility includes IndraDyn, HIPERFACE, and EnDat 2.1 encoders, allowing the module to work with multiple motor feedback formats without an added interface card. This layout lets the control board handle network communication, encoder processing, and safety signaling from one plug-in module.
