The CSH01.1C-S3-ENS-MA1-MD2-NN-S-NN-FW is a motion controller card produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Installed in Rexroth IndraDrive systems, the module coordinates servo axes through a real-time network and provides local analog and digital I/O expansion for machine tools, packaging lines, and handling equipment. By combining fieldbus communication, encoder power, and signal conditioning on one card, it acts as the central command unit within an automation rack. A single-line control panel display on the card face supports local diagnostics. This layout lets the drive manage motion commands and nearby machine signals from one control platform.

The controller communicates with higher-level PLCs over the SERCOS III interface, which is routed to the front through dual RJ-45 8-pin ports. For position feedback, the ENS channel supplies encoders with 11.6 VDC at up to 500 mA, so no external sensor supply is necessary. The MA1 section offers two differential analog inputs and two analog outputs. Both directions share a programmable span of ±10 V, and every sample is quantized with 12-bit resolution for consistent scaling of speed, torque, or process variables. These analog channels allow the card to exchange reference and monitoring signals directly with surrounding equipment.

The MD2 expansion provides 16 digital inputs for status capture, while its 16 digital outputs can drive contactors, valves, or indicator lamps. An integrated SSI master supports cable runs up to 40 m at 1 MHz, and the feedback device connects through a 6-pin RJ12 socket. The line electronics draw no more than 0.2 A. The card does not include integrated safety functions, so separate safety hardware must be used when required.
