The CSH01.1C-PL-NNN-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is a compact motion and logic controller produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. It mounts inside IndraDrive units and coordinates axis commands, fieldbus transactions, and local I/O so the drive can close loops without a separate PLC. By combining processing, analog acquisition, and digital signal handling on one card, it streamlines control cabinets in material-handling lines, packaging machines, and other automated equipment.

The board accepts differential process signals across an analog input span of ±10 V, and a front-end impedance of 160 kΩ minimizes loading on sensors. Two 12-bit converter channels generate a maximum analog source drive of 1 mA, and each step is quantized at 19.5 mV/inc for setpoint or feedback tasks. Four configurable I/O points can be mapped as fast triggers, while seven dedicated digital inputs latch status bits for interlocks or home switches. Sourcing outputs can supply field devices with 24 V logic up to 500 mA, and the control electronics are fed from a single 24 V DC supply so the stage remains live during mains isolation.

When the drive bus is re-energized, an inrush draw of 4 A is limited to just 100 ms, keeping upstream power supplies within limits and protecting relay contacts rated at 1 A. Continuous consumption stays at only 8.5 W, which helps enclosure thermal budgets and allows dense stacking of multiple controllers. Sixteen-in and sixteen-out parallel lines exchange high-speed handshakes with neighboring nodes, and two probe inputs capture encoder marker events for synchronous positioning. Remote diagnostics are possible over RS-232 links up to 15 m in length, with data bursts reaching 115 kBaud so service software can upload parameters or stream trace data without occupying the real-time fieldbus.
