The CSH01.1C-PL-ENS-EN2-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW is a motion and logic controller module built by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Designed for installation inside IndraDrive stacks, the board supervises a servo axis and transfers position, torque, and safety commands to the accompanying power stage. Within automated cells, it bridges field devices and the master PLC, handling tasks such as interpolation, fast I/O response, and emergency torque suppression. This arrangement lets one module coordinate axis control and local machine signaling inside the drive stack.

This variant governs a single axis, as indicated by its 1-channel configuration, and it measures analog process values in a ±10 V range. The inputs provide 160 kΩ impedance, so connected transducers are not heavily loaded. Its analog output provides 5 V / 1 mA for drive references. Parameters are exchanged through a Parallel Interface, while machine sequences react to 11 assignable onboard inputs. Four configurable channels can be set as inputs or outputs for user signals. Two probe inputs capture edge events synchronized with motion. Feedback comes through an ENS encoder socket and a secondary EnDat 2.1 / 1 Vpp / 5 V TTL port. A 9-pin female D-Sub on the L2 slot links the module to auxiliary wiring.

Sixteen PL digital inputs allow high-speed event registration, while an equal set of 16 PL digital outputs can energize solenoids or status lamps. A form-C relay rated at 24 V and 1 A provides galvanic isolation for interlocking contactors. Configuration data travel over the built-in RS-232 service port, permitting local access without network communication. During hazardous stops, the integrated Safe Torque Off circuit cuts gating signals to the power module, reducing reaction time. The relay output also supports isolated signaling where a direct electrical connection is not desired.
