Ultra-efficient and state-of-the-art components comprise the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system by Bosch Rexroth. One of these is the CSH control section of the ADVANCED control section range. The CSH control sections are designed for operations with high demands in performance and dynamics. They are commonly used in handling and mounting systems, machine tools, and packaging and food machines.

The CSH01.1C-PL-ENS-EN1-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW is a CSH control section model designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. Its communication module is a parallel interface with 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs. These inputs and outputs are combined into groups of 4 inputs and 4 outputs each and are galvanically isolated from the control section. With the standard encoder evaluation interface on this CSH model, encoder systems with a supply voltage of 12V can be connected to it. They include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the Hiperface interface, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the encoder system of the IndraDyn S MSK motors, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the EnDat 2.1 interface.

Another interface on the CSH01.1C-PL-ENS-EN1-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW is the Resolver and HSF encoder evaluation interface, which supports encoder systems with a supply voltage of DC 8 V or AC 18.2 V peak-peak. Additionally, the control section is equipped with a Safety Technology I/O module. Application-specific safety functions, including safety-related reduced speed, safety-related direction of motion, and safety-related drive interlock, are guaranteed with the module. Functions like setting the drive address, accessing the error memory, and establishing the basic load defaults procedure are done using the standard control panel here. Firmware use is supported with this control section, but it must be ordered separately.
