The CSH01.1C-PL-ENS-EN1-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW control section is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat and belongs to the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Installed in IndraDrive power units, this module carries out drive-based motion functions, processes field-level signals, and distributes setpoint data to connected servo axes. Through its parallel interface and encoder emulation channels, it serves as the coordination layer between machine-level PLCs and the power electronics, supporting high-speed position, velocity, and monitoring tasks in packaging stations, material-handling gantries, and similar automation equipment.

The module is powered by a control supply of 24 V DC, so the logic circuits can remain active even when the power section is disabled. Its internal encoder emulation generator reaches 1 MHz, allowing fine-resolution feedback to external PLC counters or motion cards. Signal handling includes one unipolar analog input for load cells or process transducers, while 2 analog outputs provide drive-based reference signals for auxiliary devices. For switching functions, the board includes 7 digital inputs that supplement 16 parallel inputs available through the front connector.

I/O exchanged across the parallel port is DC isolated, which helps prevent ground loops when the unit is connected to mixed-voltage control cabinets. Command and feedback signals on the servo encoder bus are handled through the IndraDyn, Hiperface, 1 Vpp, 5 V TTL interface, and the card supplies 11.6 V / 300 mA to the sensor for stable signal transmission over longer cable runs. Precise registration tasks can be triggered through 2 touch probe inputs, while 16 latched parallel outputs and one relay output send status signals to supervisory controllers.
