The CSH01.1C-PL-EN2-NNN-MEM-S1-S-NN-FW is an advanced drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Installed as the control section of an IndraDrive modular system, the board links drive electronics with machine-level programs, interprets encoder data, generates field-oriented current commands, and supervises integrated safety circuits. Its role in an automation line is to synchronize multiple servo axes, pass process variables to the higher-level PLC, and shut down power channels when a monitored hazard condition is detected.

The module’s idle load is only 7.5 W, so cabinet thermal planning is straightforward. When the DC bus first energizes, an inrush current of 4 A is permitted for 100 ms, after which steady consumption resumes. Control signals move over a Parallel Interface that supports 16-bit strobed data and can be clocked by an internal emulation generator running up to 1 MHz. The encoder front end accepts differential formats through the EnDat 2.1 / 1 Vpp / 5 V TTL connector, and a regulated 5.0 V supply is provided for the transducer. Incremental and SSI emulation outputs mirror the incoming position, and reliable feedback is maintained over cables up to 75 m that include sense leads. Additional machine connections are provided on a terminal block with 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs for latch inputs, handshake bits, or step sequence flags.
