Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the CSH01.1C-PL-EN2-MEM-MA1-L2-S-NN-FW in the CSH Advanced Controllers series. This controller card is installed inside IndraDrive power sections to coordinate axis motion, acquire feedback, and execute safety interlocks across automated lines, presses, and material handling equipment. It bridges PLC logic and servo inverters so each axis receives time-critical setpoints, enabling precise positioning and velocity control.

The controller exchanges commands with the inverter stack through a Parallel Interface, and an analog extension adds 2 analog inputs and 2 analog outputs for speed or torque references that must remain continuous even if the fieldbus is inactive. Machine sensors and limit switches can be wired to the integrated digital bank that offers 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs, while galvanically isolated circuitry separates these field lines from internal logic. For position capture, the encoder socket accepts EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, or 5 V TTL formats and provides a stabilized 5 V supply to the transducer. Absolute and incremental feedback emulation is available for downstream devices, and the MA1 port is provided on a D-Sub 15 female connector.

The EN2 secondary encoder channel supports cables with integrated sense lines up to 75 m, permitting remote motor encoders without offset errors. High-speed MEM trigger signals can be routed 40 m and switch at 1 MHz, giving deterministic synchronization to vision or measurement hardware. Two form-C relay contacts, rated 24 VDC / 1 A, provide electrically isolated acknowledgments or brake commands, while the certified motion-safety block implements Safe Torque Off via a D-Sub 9 safety connector. Diagnostic and parameter access is handled through an RS-232 serial port with cable lengths up to 15 m, and all communication links are galvanically isolated to minimize ground currents.
