To build a factory automation system that meets the demands of a wide range of applications, Bosch Rexroth combined the safest and most innovative drive and motion units possible. The result is the ultra-efficient Rexroth IndraDrive drive system with units like servo motors, gearboxes, power units, and control units. The control sections in the CSH01 series are single-axis components of this drive system used for controlling electric motors and monitoring their operations.
The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-MA1-MD2-S1-S-NN-FW is a model of the CSH01 family of ADVANCED control sections by Bosch Rexroth. It is a configurable Version 1 type of the control sections in this series and is equipped with the PROFIBUS bus system. The bus system is the means for the cyclical exchange of specified and actual values between the control section and its users. Encoder systems with a supply voltage of 12V can be connected to this device through its standard encoder evaluation interface. Some of these encoders are the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with the EnDat 2.1 interface, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track.
Firmware can be used with the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-MA1-MD2-S1-S-NN-FW, but it must be ordered separately. The control section belongs to category C3 according to IEC 61800‑3; hence, radio interference suppression methods must be employed to avoid high-frequency interference during its operation. Its standard control panel has a single-line display on which information like the operating states of the drive controller, its command and error diagnoses, and pending warnings can be viewed and resolved. It is not suited for hot-plug and must be plugged in when the drive controller is switched on.
