The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is a control section with two encoder modules. Both of the installed encoder modules are interface standard encoder evaluation ENS modules that are designed to work with 12 Volt rated encoders. These encoder modules allow the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW to be used with MSK series motors, sin-cos encoders with Hiperface support, sin-cos encoders with EnDat 2.1 interface and sin-cos encoders with reference track. The module physical interface is a 15-pin D-sub female connector. Stranded copper wire with 0.25 to 0.5 mm2 cross-sectional area is recommended for this type of encoder module. The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW features a total of four slots for hardware modules. Three slots are designated for plug in modules and one slot is designated for a safety module. Two slots on the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW, including the safety module slot, are vacant.
CSH series control sections support multiple master communication interfaces including SERCOS, Profibus and Multi-Ethernet. The CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-NN-S-NN- FW comes with Profibus support. You can use only one type of control panel to configure the control section which is a standard control panel. This control panel does not support hot swap and must only be connected when the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-ENS-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is switched off.
