Bosch Rexroth Indramat builds the CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-NNN-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW as a compact control section for drive packages in the CSH Advanced Controllers series. The module attaches to a compatible power section and supervises axis motion, fieldbus traffic, and embedded safety logic. Inside an automation cell, it converts high-level program commands into real-time current and position directives, allowing servo drives to follow precise trajectories in packaging lines, material handling stations, and other motion-focused equipment.

The control section provides one analog output channel with a span of 0 to +5 V, and this range is typically used for speed or torque references for external drives or monitoring devices. Channel compliance is limited to 1 mA, so connected loads must remain minimal. Internal electronics demand only 7.5 W at idle, which helps reduce cabinet heat. Cyclic setpoints and diagnostics are exchanged over PROFIBUS, enabling deterministic communication with PLCs and I/O nodes. Position feedback enters through the mixed-signal EnDat 2.1 / 1 Vpp / 5 V TTL interface, which supports automatic encoder identification and high-resolution interpolation. These interfaces allow the control section to process network commands and encoder signals without additional interface cards.

An optional EN2 channel is stabilized for loads down to 35 Ω, which helps maintain voltage accuracy when low-impedance transducers are connected. That circuit draws just 6 W and is supplied by a local rail that delivers 350 mA at 5.0 VDC. Logic for the fieldbus daughterboard is provided by the main backplane, and the overall controller accepts a bus voltage of DC 24 V. The supply circuit must account for a 4 A inrush peak when the unit is energized. A 0.5 A safety output and relays rated at DC 24 V / 1 A complete the Safe Motion package used for stop and enable functions.
