With its array of state-of-the-art drive and motion control units, the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is the ideal option for numerous factory automation applications. One of its components is the drive controller, comprised of a power section and a control section. The control sections that are in the CSH01 series are single-axis control sections in the ADVANCED range by Bosch Rexroth. They are mostly used in handling and mounting systems, printing and paper processing machines, packaging and food machines, and machine tools.
The CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-NNN-MD2-S1-S-NN-FW is a CSH01 control section model designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It features a PROFIBUS master communication interface for its interaction with other components of the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system and higher-level control systems. It is also equipped with a standard encoder evaluation interface that permits the connection of encoder systems with a supply voltage of 5V. The encoders that are compatible with the interface are the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 and with Sense lines, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track.
The standard control panel of the CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-NNN-MD2-S1-S-NN-FW has a single-line display where the operating states, command, and error diagnoses of the drive controller are shown. The control section also has a combined Digital I/O extension and an SSI encoder evaluation interface. The interface provides a digital I/O extension with 16 inputs and 16 outputs and SSI encoder evaluation for absolute position detection. Thanks to the compact size of this control section, it can be safely mounted and dismounted up to 20 times with minimal effort. It also ensures simple, space-conserving installation within the drive controller.
