The CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-NNN-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW is a control section produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. It installs in an IndraDrive power module and coordinates motion, fieldbus communication, and local I/O processing so connected axes and sensors can be synchronized in industrial automation cells. By combining integrated analog channels, digital terminals, and a PROFIBUS interface, the board reduces external wiring and allows machine programs to run directly at the drive level.

Process-level data exchange is handled over the fieldbus, and the controller supports PROFIBUS at the Pb port for deterministic communication with PLCs and HMIs. Two analog input channels accept signals in the range of ±10 V, and their high input impedance of 160 kΩ prevents measurable loading of connected transducers. A single analog output can source up to 1 mA across an adjustable span of 0 to 5 V, making it suitable for speed references or proportional valve control. Internal electronics draw only 7.5 W from the drive’s DC bus, so thermal rise inside the cabinet remains limited. Primary encoder feedback is accepted through EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, or TTL formats to close position loops on the board.

The auxiliary En2 connector delivers a sensor supply of 350 mA at 5.0 VDC, allowing incremental encoders or Hall sensors to be powered without external regulators. On the Md1 terminal strip, there are 12 × 24 V digital inputs for limit switches and reference signals, while the module provides 8 × 24 V sourcing outputs rated at 0.5 A for actuator coils or status lamps. A Form C relay with a contact capacity of 24 VDC, 1 A offers isolated signaling to safety interlocks. No integrated safety option is included, so any required STO or emergency-stop functions must be implemented in the surrounding control architecture.
