Bosch Rexroth Indramat manufactures the CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-ENS-MEM-S2-S-NN-FW controller, which is a plug-in module in the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Installed in IndraDrive power sections, it supplies axis control logic, field communication, and integrated safety for motors used in automated machinery, packaging stations, and material-handling lines. The board includes motion control functions, sensor supplies, and interface hardware so the drive can close control loops and exchange real-time data with plant-level PLCs.

The module links to distributed I/O through PROFIBUS-DP, and a 9-pin female D-Sub connector is provided for that network. For service access, an RS-232 port supports cable runs up to 15 m. The card occupies a footprint of 241 × 49.5 × 103 mm, which allows installation beside power units without increasing cabinet depth. Its analog monitor channel sources 5 VDC / 1 mA, which is suitable for external tachometers or torque references. Feedback from EnDat sensors is accepted on the En2 socket, where the supported protocol set is EnDat 2.1 / 1 Vpp / 5 V TTL; the circuit can deliver up to 350 mA while the encoder supply remains at 5.0 VDC. A single-line display on the front edge shows drive status, parameter numbers, and diagnostic codes during setup.

Second feedback is routed through the Ens connector, which accepts IndraDyn / Hiperface / 1 Vpp formats. This port supplies 500 mA at 11.6 VDC, allowing resolvers or multi-turn encoders to be powered directly from the card. For position-latch functions, the MEM input can count reference marks at frequencies up to 1 MHz, which supports precise capture on high-speed axes. The integrated Safe Motion function works with external enable sensors and achieves SIL2 / Cat. 3 PL d without separate relays. Absolute and incremental encoder emulation signals are produced at the same time so external controllers or measuring equipment can read motion data from the drive.
