The CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-ENS-MD1-S2-S-NN-FW is a plug-in control section manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. It slides into an IndraDrive inverter and supplies the logic layer that sequences servo axes, supervises feedback devices, and exchanges data with plant networks. By concentrating encoder rails, digital I/O, PROFIBUS mastering, and Safe Motion safety on one compact board, it removes the need for separate interface modules. The unit is selected for packaging lines, pick-and-place gantries, and material-handling stations where tightly coordinated multi-axis motion is required.

Its En2 encoder interface delivers 5.0 V at up to 350 mA, so incremental or EnDat 2.1 sensors can be powered directly from the board. The controller exchanges cyclic setpoints and diagnostic data with the host PLC over the PROFIBUS master channel, maintaining synchronous operation across multiple drives. Axis wiring terminates on a 25-pin D-Sub Md1 connector that also routes optional analog references. Inside that connector, the board provides 12 digital inputs that capture limit switch, datum, or cam signals, and the selectable encoder channels accept EnDat 2.1, 1 Vpp, or TTL feedback.

For output tasks, the Md1 port carries 8 transistor outputs rated for 24 V / 0.5 A; they can energize contactors, solenoid valves, or stack-light segments directly.
