The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-MD2-NN-S-NN-FW is a single-axis control section produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. It mounts on an IndraDrive power section and coordinates servo positioning and velocity loops in industrial automation cells. Through its modular design, the unit handles motion tasks while exchanging status data and commands with higher-level PLCs. This arrangement lets it coordinate axes in packaging lines, material-handling stations, and robotic work cells.

The control section draws a base power of 7.5 W, so cabinet power allocation remains low even when multiple axes are installed. Communication with the drive network is established over PROFIBUS-DP, allowing cyclic setpoint updates and diagnostic feedback. The module provides 16 digital inputs, and a matching bank of transistor drivers supports external devices with an output load of 0.5 A per channel. Each input is designed for 24 V logic and loads the source by only 3 mA, which helps limit voltage drop in field wiring. Additional digital I/O and SSI feedback can be added through the expansion function, and the primary fieldbus interface terminates on a D-Sub, 9-pin female connector on the front panel.

The integrated encoder interface supplies the feedback transducer with 6 W of power, operates at 4 kHz, and delivers an amplitude of 18.2 Vpp. This supports resolver or High-Speed Feedback devices without external signal conditioners. Position data can also be exchanged over the optional RS-232 service port, which supports cable runs up to 15 m for local setup and diagnostics. Relay outputs inside the unit are rated at 24 V DC / 1 A, enabling direct switching of contactors or brakes when safety functions are executed.
