The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW is a configurable control section. Bosch has developed multiple types of control sections for IndraDrive controllers including advanced and basic control sections. The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW is an advanced control section. It is designed for single-axis control applications. The control section is configurable and works with a standard control panel that must be connected before the unit is powered on. The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW has a modular architecture: both the hardware and software can be adapted to user requirements. The firmware can be selected based on required feature sets. The hardware can also be selected: a wide range of optional modules are available that can be installed on the basic unit of the control section. Advanced control sections have a total of four slots for optional modules. Two of these slots on the CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW are occupied and two are vacant.
The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW features a digital I/O extension module and an encoder HSF / RSF module. The digital I/O module makes available 12 digital inputs that are rated for 24 Volts and 8 digital outputs that are rated for 24 Volts. The physical interface for this module is a 25-pin D-sub interface that can be used with stranded wire that has 0.08 to 0.5 mm2 cross-section. The encoder module on the CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW allows interfacing with MHD motors that feature digital servo feedback and MKD motors with resolver-based feedback. Master communication interface on the control section is Profibus which has a D-sub 9-pin physical interface. A LED is also provided to display status of the Profibus interface. The recommended connection cable for Profibus is stranded copper wire with 0.08 to 0.5 mm2 cross-section. The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-NNN-MD1-NN-S-NN-FW draws 7.5 Watts power from the power section.
