The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-MEM-MA1-S1-S-NN-FW control section is produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat within the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Designed as a plug-in command module for compatible drive systems, it provides real-time coordination of drive functions, analog feedback, and failsafe I/O in factory automation cells. By combining fieldbus communication and motion signal conditioning, the unit links higher-level PLCs to individual axes without adding external interface boards.

It includes a dedicated control bus based on PROFIBUS, allowing deterministic exchange of setpoints and diagnostic data with supervisory controllers. Two differential analog input channels accept process values within a span of ±10 V; each sample is digitized at 12-bit resolution to maintain adequate granularity for speed or torque loops. Matching analog outputs deliver reference signals to external actuators over the same voltage range. Galvanic separation is built in between the emulation circuits and system logic. The unit is galvanically isolated to help prevent ground loops when resolver or SSI transducers are wired from distant machines. The internal electronics draw 7.5 W of base power, so cabinet thermal load remains low.

The module operates from a logic supply of DC 24 V and tolerates an inrush current of 4 A at startup, which affects fuse sizing. Its resolver excitation driver provides a carrier of 18.2 Vpp at 4 kHz to support clean sinusoidal feedback for absolute position calculation. Safety circuitry is integrated, and the dedicated output can switch up to 24 V / 0.5 A for contactors, while a discrete 24 V, 3 mA input accepts emergency-stop signals. Additional interfaces include an 8 VDC supply for HSF encoders and SSI incremental emulation with separate conversion paths, enabling flexible feedback adaptation without external converters.
