Installed in IndraDrive platforms, the module supervises servo axes for MKD, MKE, and MHD motors and translates process commands into coordinated motion in automated machinery. By combining fieldbus communication, local I/O, and safety circuitry, it acts as the central control layer between higher-level PLCs and the power electronics that energize the connected drives.

This CSH01.1C variant communicates with the plant network through PROFIBUS-DP, and the bus is physically presented on a D-Sub 9 female connector for quick panel wiring. It offers 12 digital inputs rated for 24 V logic, while 8 transistor outputs provide discrete control for contactors or sensors; each group is scanned at the drive’s base cycle to maintain synchronized actions. A compact single-line display reports status codes directly on the front panel, allowing local setup without an external device. For auxiliary diagnostics or parameter backup, the module also features an RS232 serial port. The control can accept feedback from resolvers and HSF encoders, allowing it to close velocity and position loops with high accuracy.
