It is intended to coordinate a servo drive and its feedback devices in industrial automation cells, providing motion control, I/O handling, and safety monitoring within a compact rack-mount format. When installed inside an IndraDrive cabinet, the unit governs motor currents, gathers high-resolution analog signals, and exchanges real-time data with upstream PLCs through fieldbus channels.

On its two differential analog channels, the controller samples input signals up to 1.4 kHz, allowing the drive to follow rapidly changing command profiles without phase delay. Each input presents 160 kΩ of resistance to the source, so standard process transmitters can be wired without significant loading. Conversion granularity is 1.23 mV/inc, which aids precise torque or speed reference generation.
