The CSH01.1C-PB-EN1-EN1-NNN-S1-S-NN-FW is a modular motion control section manufactured by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Installed in the left slot of a Rexroth drive stack, the unit interprets motion commands, processes encoder feedback, and exchanges data with higher-level PLCs. Within an automation cell, it coordinates multiple axes, aligns position loops in real time, and supports integrated safety functions through the drive system. Because it operates as part of the drive stack, control tasks and feedback handling remain closely coupled to the connected axes.

The module is energized from a backplane supply of 24 V DC; during power-up, it can draw an inrush current of 4 A before stabilizing at a nominal base power of 7.5 W. Fieldbus communication is handled by an onboard interface identified in the type code as PROFIBUS, and the network is routed through a D-Sub 9-pin female connector at port X30 for bus connection to other nodes. Two independent feedback channels accept signals identified as 2 × EN1, so the card can process simultaneous position streams from resolver or HSF encoders. Each channel is supplied with 8 V DC sensor power, and the internal decoder supports resolver and HSF feedback formats without additional interface cards. The separate safety connection keeps shutdown wiring distinct from the fieldbus and feedback ports, which helps maintain an orderly signal layout on the front of the module.
