The CSH01.1C-NN-ENS-NNN-MEM-S2-S-XP-FW is a control section produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat for the CSH Advanced Controllers series. Installed in an IndraDrive power module, it provides axis control, safety monitoring, and field-level I/O so the drive can be integrated into an automation cell. By combining analog, digital, and encoder interfaces on one compact board, the unit delivers deterministic motion commands while reducing cabinet space and wiring. This arrangement keeps the control section closely coupled to the power stage and connected machine signals.

The analog interface accepts feedback and command signals over ±10 V, 160 kΩ, which helps prevent loading of sensors or PLC outputs. Digital command channels require only 24 V, 3 mA, allowing direct connection to standard sourcing inputs. For actuator feedback, a buffered reference of 5 V, 1 mA can be sent from the analog output to external converters. Internal electronics are powered through a separated bus at DC 19–30 V, 1.1 A, which helps keep the control logic active during main-line drops. When the supply is first applied, the card draws an inrush of 4 A, a value used for power-distribution planning. The safety layer is implemented with Safe Motion (SIL2/cat. 3 PL d), enabling certified stop and speed functions without extra hardware. A Standard Control Panel mounts on the front, while the width of 49.5 mm, depth of 103 mm, and height of 241 mm permit stacking several controllers on a DIN rail. The encoder socket supports IndraDyn, Hiperface, 1 Vpp, and TTL formats, and an additional channel offers encoder emulation for downstream drives. No master communication or second option card is installed, so the unit is intended for applications that rely on local interfaces rather than a centralized fieldbus connection.
